Introduction

Development & Growth Funding DAC and Development Capital Fund Management DAC (collectively, “Development Capital”, “we” “us” and “our”) are the General Partners of Development Capital Fund II Limited Partnership and The BDO Development Capital Fund Limited Partnership (collectively, the “Funds”), respectively. The Funds are aimed at investing development and growth capital in Irish SMEs to support and accelerate their export growth plans. We support high calibre, ambitious, determined and motivated management teams by providing not only the funding to achieve their growth, but also actively supporting management teams post investment to assist them exploit and maximise their growth opportunities.

Growth plans vary from company to company and can range, for example, from a strategic acquisition to enter new export markets to capital expenditure to meet increased demand from both new and existing customers at home and abroad.

Our investment amounts range from €2 - 12 million with a 5-year investment term. We employ flexible transaction instruments including equity, equity/debt mix which are structured appropriate to the particular business circumstances.

This privacy statement (“Privacy Statement”) applies only to the www.developmentcapital.ie web site (or the “web site”).By using www.developmentcapital.ie and submitting any personal information to us, you agree to the use by us of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Statement.

Information we collect

Will you provide my information to a third party?

In general, we do not share your personal information with third parties (other than service providers acting on our behalf) unless we have a lawful basis for doing so.

We rely on third-party service providers to perform a variety of services on our behalf, such as website hosting, electronic message delivery, payment processing, data analytics and research. This may mean that we have to share your personal information with these third parties. When we share your personal information in this way, we put in place appropriate measures to make sure that our service providers keep your personal information secure.

From time to time, we may disclose personal information in response to a court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

(a) perform other services we request from service providers;
(b) in the course of a sale or an acquisition of Development Capital;

We require all employees and principals to keep personal information confidential and only authorised personnel have access to this information.
