Version 1 is a leading provider of IT services and solutions which drive customer success. Founded in 1996 by Justin Keatinge and John Mullen, the business has grown to employ c.1,300 staff across their offices in Ireland and the UK.

In 2014, Development Capital invested €8 million in return for a minority stake in Version 1. This investment assisted to fund 4 international bolt-on acquisition and organic growth in the UK. Following a period of significant growth, in 2017, Volpi Capital acquired a significant stake in Version 1 for €90 million and as part of the transaction Development Capital realised its investment in the business.
