ATA Group is a world leading manufacturer of precision engineering products including carbide burs and other cutting tools that are sold to a variety of end markets. Based in Cavan, the company employs over 300 people in its facilities in Ireland, UK, USA and Germany.

In 2017, Development Capital acquired a minority stake in ATA Group, this was followed up in 2019 with a co-investment alongside the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) to part fund the acquisition of Karnasch Professional Tools, a German cutting tool specialist.
